Cannolo means ‘little tube’ in Italian and these are delicious savory versions of cannoli, perfect served with a glass of something fizzy before dinner.
Serves 6 as canapés
INGREDIENTS
3oz cream cheese
1 tablespoon Bomba! XXX
12 slices of salami
½ handful of arugula or shredded basil
Method
- Mix together the cream cheese and Bomba until well combined.
- Lay out the 12 slices of salami and spread each slice with a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture and a pinch of arugula or shredded basil.
- Simply roll up into little tubes and serve.
