These roasted nuts and seeds are a healthy yet nutritious snack. They are also great for parties when served with a glass of something cold!
Serves 4-6
INGREDIENTS
3 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons Taste #5 Umami Paste Vegetarian Far Eastern Recipe
400g (14oz) unsalted mixed nuts and seeds
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Whisk together the olive oil and umami paste and pour over the nuts and seeds. Stir together until they are all well coated.
- Transfer onto a greased baking sheet and put in the oven. Roast for 10 -15 minutes until the nuts and seeds have gone golden brown. Be aware to keep an eye on them in the oven as the seeds can easily and quickly burn.
- Remove from the oven and leave to cool. Store in an airtight container.
